recipe: m&m munchers

Apr 26

this picture is a much better intro than anything i could say…

we’ve been having a harried week around here with school and after-school activities. so each afternoon i have been in the mood for something sweet to get me through the rest of the day. this small treat always satisfies my craving – and, like everything i share here, they are very easy to make!

another reason i decided to make these this week? it’s a great recipe when you have leftover holiday themed m&m’s. here are the remains from our Easter…

along with the rest of the ingredients…

the dough is so soft and light…

then you add in those m&m’s. since i didn’t have a lot of m&m’s, i added in some semi-sweet chocolate chips to fill in the rest of that 2 cup requirement…

after cooling the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes, you will roll it in your hands to form small balls…and place them in a mini-muffin pan sprayed with cooking spray…

bake them for 12-14 minutes…

so good…

a simple and easy recipe…

my favorite way to eat these is with a hot cup of coffee…

i put together the dough in less than 10 minutes and popped it into the fridge before heading out for afternoon carpool. when we got home from school, we threw them in the oven and the kids had a warm after school treat. these are really super easy to make, and you likely have most of the ingredients on hand already.
here is the recipe if you would like to download and enjoy them yourself!
